Dawn's Story
A bit after high school I moved to Northern California where I met my husband. We then relocated to Portland, Oregon, where we lived for 15 years. After getting tired of the hectic city lifestyle (rat race) we simplified and moved to a small rural town in Northwest Missouri in 2006. Since moving to Missouri we have opened an auction house which we own and operate. We sell locally through our auction house and also online through ebay (user ID is junk_shoppe--check it out). John and I have been married for nearly 20 years!!!
Over the years our family has grown to 4 children!! Steven is now 22 years old and still living in Portland but thinking about moving to Missouri. Justin is 20 and working and going to college part-time. He is also thinking about relocating to Missouri. No...Expand for more
thing would make Mom more happy than to have them close again!! Our younger children relocated with us to Missouri in 2006. Sheldon is 16 and a Junior in high school. He wrestles and plays football and also holds down a part-time job. Madison is 14 and just getting ready to enter high school. She is a cheerleader and also on the track team.
Oh, and my mom and my youngest sister also followed suit and relocated to Missouri in the past year.
In addition to the kids, we have a wonderful St. Bernard, a loveable English bulldog, and a very animated cockatoo so our house is always lively.
Haven't made a trip back to New Jersey since I left in 1988 but am thinking about a trip this summer. The kids are anxious to see Mom's old stomping grounds, visit family, and go to the seashore!!
