Hi Everyone,
After DHS I spent 2 years at NMMI before going to Texas Tech. I then took a 20 year detour in the USAF. It allowed me many travels, domestic and abroad. My first two children Candice and Zachary were born in Germany, and a little later Rachel was born in Tucson. I now live in Peoria, which is in the northwest part of the Phoenix Valley. Last January I ran in my first marathon since 1982 and it was awesome.
I've decided to train for the Rock n Roll Marathon once again here in January -- I really enjoy training with Team Chances. We're raising donations to fight childhood obesity here in the Valley. (TeamChances.org) Training is more of a challenge these days, but I enjoy it. I'll be running in the Phoenix 10K 7 Nov and the Fiesta Bowl half marathon 6 Dec for training with the Rock n Roll race coming up on 16 Jan.
