John Cawley:  

I quickly became one of the supervisors there and was next in line for the head of security job. Unfortunately I was laid off, due to cutbacks. So I was putting myself through a comm. college, and went to work in the construction business. While doing all of this I was being recruited by the Detroit Police Dept. So I quit my job working construction and went back to security at a local mall. Although I'm not supposed to call it a mall, it was a "Collection." Which is just another word for snobby ass people. If you can't tell, I didn't really like that place. By this time I was 22, and i was tired of waiting for the Detroit Police to call me back. So I decided to join the military. And after 7 wonderful years as an Aviation Electrician's Mate and making rank rather quickly, I'd have to say that I'm happy with what I've decided to make a carreer. Military There I was in 'Nam.... Just kidding. Seriously though, being on the carrier and sending off the first bombs for Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom too, was the greatest thing. To see an aircraft come back with no bombs left on it, it makes you say to yourself, "Wow. I helped make that happen. I'm helping another country become free." That's what my job is all about, and I'm proud to do it.
