John's Story
UPDATE 2011--Very sad to say my love of over 50 years LINDA ANN DAINO passed away in January of 2011. She had been fighting breast cancer for the past 6 years. My life will never be the same without her. I miss her more than anyone could imagine. I never knew I could shed so many tears. It has been five months since she passed and it doesnt seem to be getting any easier coping with the loss. We will be together again someday and my love for her will never end.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Joined the Navy right out of high school & they placed me into aviation. I've been in aviation ever since. Started in aircraft maintenance and then started flying in 1978. Married in 1966 to Linda Troll (my high school sweethart) ---we are still married with 3 children and SIX grandchildren.

led in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Employed by GlaxoSmithKline I have flown corporate aircraft out of the Philadelphia Intl. airport for the past 26 years.
I retired from aviation in 2008 to stay at home and care for my wife. Linda has been quite ill for a while and my flying career just needed to end. Currently ( Dec 09 ) Linda is recovering from her third bout with breast cancer. She is a fighter but keep her in your prayers. Even little prayers are welcome.
On a positive note. I have been playing guitar for the past 50 years and I still play as often as possible. When I'm feeling down I can always count on my music to bring my spirits up and help me stay focused and positive.
I also love to restore classic cars and motorcycles.
