John's Story
Lisa and I have been in Florida approximately 12 years. Prior to that IL,IN,OH,TX. Since I finished my tour in the USMC, have traveled to numerous cities in US, plus lived/worked in Auckland, London, Brussels, Paris,Tel Aviv, Hidelburg,Capetown and Monterrey Mexico. She is currently a senior accountant for the largest Golf Mgmt firm in US, and I am the Vice President for a Railroad construction firm, covering area from New Orleans East to Miami in the South. If we are not playing golf,or by the pool, we are training or running our Miniature Schnauzer "FRED". Lisa trains Agility classes on Monday evenings, and our dog is Retired from both the AKC and UKC as an agility champion. We now have two more Schnauzers, FORREST IS 4 YEARS OLD, and our newest is a sweet little girl n...Expand for more
amed FRANKIE. FORREST is on the agility circuit and is training with the USA agility team. Frankie is learning from her brothers at present. That about sums up our near 18 years together. Having a great time, starting to get old though, I realize that I'm only preaching to the choir on this topic, but Damn. When you look in the mirror each AM, it's who is this old guy? Was sorry to hear Roy Scheider died this past week, He had my favorite quote of all time, when he portrayed Bob Fosse in All That Jazz. Each morning he looked in the mirror, and all he said was "SHOWTIME". Later. PS, Last year I had a Hemoraghic stroke in May, followed in September with a Heart attack. It was a great year, if you know what I mean. All is well now, with no side effects from either.
