John's Story

I met my wife Leslie at Occidental College in 1969 and we married in 1971, giving us 46 great years together (so far!) We have one daughter, Brooke, who has been married 7 years and has two children- Mirah (5) and Mateo (2). We currently divide our time about equally between homes in Santa Monica, CA and the high Rocky Mountains near Steamboat Springs, CO. ld to Oracle Corporation in 1997 and Digital Insight Corporation, which I took public as CEO in 1999 and eventually sold to Intuit Inc. in 2007. I currently sit on the Board of Directors of three high growth technology companies and also serve on the Board of the Yosemite Conservancy. I enjoy long-distance road cycling, hiking, skiing, golf and adventure travel. In the past two years, Leslie and I have traveled to both Antarctica and the Arctic on expeditions with National Geographic.
