Life
Log into the Chemistry Department of the University of Central Oklahoma to send me an email. I'm also on Facebook. After THS, I received my BS in chemistry from Kansas in 1987. I attended Iowa State University from 1987 to 1993 and got my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. I discovered that I really enjoy teaching, so after ISU, I served in two one-year teaching positions in the Fargo, ND area--and YES it is cold there!!

ull-time, tenure-track teaching position at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond (the northeast side of Oklahoma City) in 1995. I've been there ever since. I was promoted Full Professor in 2005. (I guess I finally lived up to my nickname, "The Professor."
I am very active in the American Chemical Society, and aside from teaching in the classroom, my favorite thing is to go to schools and do demonstrations and chemistry "magic" shows.
