John's Story
Born in Dallas, Texas, March 28, 1958, to Carl and Helen Flores. Dad worked 36 years as engineer at Vought Aircraft after serving as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army during the early-to-mid 1950s.

Served four years as search-and-rescue crewman in the U.S. Coast Guard, stationed in San Francisco and New Orleans. Attended Hill Jr. College, Tarleton State, and University of Texas Austin. Worked for several newspapers in Texas and New Mexico. Now living in Albuquerque with my wife of 10 years.
Am writing books now.
