John's Story

I am currently teaching Biology and Coaching Football at Montwood H.S. I am on 32nd year in education. I coach the Varsity Defensive Line. I have also been an Offensive and Defensive Coordinator in my previous years at Del Valle H.S. I have always enjoyed working with kids,especially the at-risk students. I know that I have made a difference in may of their lives, just like all the great teacher...Expand for more
s I had at Austin H.S. Through out my career, I have coached football, basketball, baseball, and track. I like all these sports, but I love football. Motivation come from with in and when you instill it in these young men it's amazing how you can climb any mountain. Our linemen's motto: "So goes the line, so goes the ball club!" He who controls the line of scrimmage controls his own destiny.
