John's Story
I moved to Houston, Texas in 1986 to work at the NASA / Johnson Space Center in Information Technology (IT). I served in a variety of roles for over 14 years. I left the Space business in 2000 and have worked in IT for several major companies. I work at MD Anderson Cancer Center (#1 Cancer Center in the USA) in Houston. I am a Sr. IT Architect and really like my job. MD Anderson is a truly remarkable place to work.
My wife, Patti and I got married in 1991. Patti works at NASA and is a Nutritional Biochemist. She does Ast...Expand for more
ronaut research on bone density loss in space (she helps our kids with the science projects!). We have two great children, Justin (13) and Katie (10). We raise horses (American Paint Horses). When we can squeeze out of town, we enjoy camping with many of our family friends.
