The lovely Janet McFerran , (who to my regret I have never met) requested I tell my story, so after a few months of delay here is a brief synopsis of the last 40 years. What can I say about my life so far, "Some of its majic, some of its tragic, but I've had a good life just the same". Plagiarized from Jimmy Buffet. After high school I traveled and just kicked around for a few years. Moved to Houston, Texas in 1978 and married my first wife. Made a few million dollars in building and land development. Lost it all including the wife when the economy crashed in the 80's. My father passed away at the early age of 63 in 1988, definitely a low point. Married again in the early nineties and started another building company. In 2002 my god daughter was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer, so I spent the next 2 years in the evenings at the hospital taking care of her so her mother could work.
