John's Story
Life
My wife Diane (she graduated from Highland Park High School) and I currently reside in Winter Springs, Florida (just north of Orlando). We have three kids that are all grown and out of the house (thank heavens). We have three granddaughters that love to come visit grandma and grandpa so that they can swim in the pool.
Diane and I spend our leasure time between lounging by the pool, visiting Disney or taking a ride on the motorcycle. If I would have known how much better life would have been after you turn 50, I would have done that much sooner.
College

work for Southwestern Bell. After five years I transferred to Columbus, OH where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Franklin University.
Workplace
For almost thirty years I worked for AT&T/Western Electric/Lucent Technologies. I had the opportunity to retire before I turned 50 and jumped on it. I tried being retired full time but couldn't take the pressure so I went back to work. I am currently the Corporate Technical Training Manager for Bright House Networks in Central Florida. I have an awsome job that enables me to travel in Florida (versus the international traveling I did with Lucent) and still be home every night.
