John's Story
Life Married for almost 40 years, two kids. One lives inPerry the other lives in Baltimore. I have 3 dogs and one cat. I recently moved to the country. I guess you could say I am on green areas. I retired in 2002 after being in construction for 33 years, then went back to work in 2004, as a convenience store clerk because I always wondered what it would be like. I did this for 2 years then quit to go to work with the school district as a custodian. I have now done this for 3years and have already gotten my own school as a head custodian. xt escapade will be as far as work. In 2002 I was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumor. Went to John Hopkins and had it zapped with radiation and turn the thing into stone. 2005 I was diagnosed with throat and tonsil cancer. I am now over 6 years in remission. During my chemo I had a heart attack brought on by chemicals they use in the chemo drug. I am now an avid supporter of the Relay for Life. I am a committee member and help to put on the local Relay for LIfe walk a thon I am now living life to the fullest. Connie has been my one and biggest super stars through all of this. She is my angel in shining armor. That pretty well sums up my life in 100 words of less
