Left ODOT in 1979 and went to work for U.S. Testing company on a nuculear power plant in Pennsylvania. That didn't work out so went to work for Xerox manufacturing plant on the west side of OKC near Mustang. Left there in June of 1982 and went to work at Okla. t Univ. of Idaho in Moscow, ID in 1996. Christmas night in 1997 my wife died. In May of 1999 come to work at Penn State Univ to run a training program under a contract with PA DOT. I ran the program for 10 years but I moved it to Indiana Univ. of PA in a little town called Indiana, Pennsylvania. Got remarried in 2006 and currently live in Altoona, PA. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work for the State Dept. and the World Bank as a consultant and have presented training couses and designing and building roads in Canada, Russia, Mexico, Federated States of Micronesia in the South Pacific, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and about 47 of our states. It has been really neat to travel to the other places. I have one daughter who graduated from Penn State in May 2005 and and then graduated from George Washington Univ. and then Denver Univ. She lived in Japan for a year on her own right after highschool and majored in Japanese and International Policy at PSU. I belong to several camping clubs (Escapees and Jayco Wise Owls) and travel 4-6 months a year in our Class A motorhome. In 2014 went to Albuquerque, NM to the hot air balloon festival and it was great. I fully retired in 2015 bujt still do occasional consulting to highway departments and university research center.
That is all.
