John's Story
Life
After school I worked at Main Line Federal and then got married in 1984 to a girl I met at the Wayne Teen Center (she was working for the Senior center in the back). We have lived in Ridley Township (Green Raiders) since we were married.
I continued working in Wayne for Meridian Mortgage in various positions till 1994.
My wife and I went to college when Widener U. started up a program for nights and weekends in 1987. We both received out BS in Business Admin in 1992.
We had our first daughter Victoria in 1991. She will be attending Cardinal O'Hara this year in 11 grade.

for banking software from 1995 till 2001 when I was laid off from there.
We had our second daughter Antonina in 2000. She will be in first grade at our parish school this year.
Since I was laid off, I ended up staying home during the day to care for Antonina.
I had been working a second job since 1993 delivering the Philadelphia Inquirer in Havertown. I was able to pick up some more deliveries and it became my "full-time" income for the past 6 years. The hours lend themselves to being home during the day. It isn't the best of jobs, but it has really worked out for us.
Now since the little one is in 1st grade, I've started looking for another office position so I can get rid of the 24/7 delivery job.
