After graduating from San Jose State in 1969 I joined the Oakland Ca. Police Department. where I worked from 1969-1979 Exciting times, Black Panthers , Hell's Angels, SLA and the Oakland Raiders. After four years I was promoted to Sergeant and worked Patrol and the detective division. Never a dull moment, the raiders could raise hell. I met both the ladies while on duty as a policeman. . IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE UNIFORM. My son is 35, very successful and independent. I also have two stepsons and a four year old grandson.
