John's Story
Hello,
If your reading this then you are still "kicking" so that is a good thing. :-)
Back in 71, was co-captain of the swim team, member of ski patrol, 3i region and living on my own while cooking in a french restaurant (Chateau Louise). Had a swimming scholarship to Western State College of Colorado, unfortunately or rather fortunately I majored in skiing, minored in swimming as pre-med wasn't making it. Year of the draft still in effect so joined the Navy to have a choice whereby I became a Navy SEAL for 13 1/2 years.
Adventure continues whereby now I am involved in Humanitarian work in Africa utilizing all the skillsets I acquired along the way. Swimming in the Congo river with Goliath Tiger fish can keep you looking....

f of my life was exciting, the second half is fun applying the skills I have learned while helping others.
Was married shortly after I went into the Navy to a girl from Carpentersville, however after 12 years in the Teams, she did not sign on for my work in the Counter Terrorist Forces.. No fault of hers, strictly mine as I chose my work over a family life. Had two great kids from the marriage with a grandchild on the ground and we communicate often weekly.
Staying busy, enjoy the mountains of Colorado when I am not traveling. Still active in sports while consulting around the world.
Have a great day, thought if ever there was a reunion I would either fly in or parachute in, probably best I haven't heard of our class getting together.
