John's Story
Life
After graduating, I entered the fire service where I have been employed since.
In 1988 I attended the University of Washington's Paramedic training program and now work as a Medic with the Shoreline Fire Department.
I met my wife while working at Harborview (she's a nurse) and we were married in 1994. Today we live on Bainbridge Island in a home we built six years ago. She has two kids (both grown) and we now have a beautifull four year old granddaughter named Genevieve. I still have a hard t...Expand for more
ime realizing the Grandfather issue (she calls me Papa John, which is easier to take.)
Today I work as the Battalion Chief in charge of Emergency Medical Services for Shoreline Fire. I spend my "off time" (what little I have) building projects or planning trips to Vegas etc. I also spent ten years as a general contractor building & remodeling houses, but today the projects are much smaller (but seem to take up just as much time).
