JOHN's Story
I've lived in many places but I keep coming back to Texas. Hawaii and Arizona were amongst my favorite. Colorado, Kentucky and Ohio where amongst my least. But I must admit that it was the dreadful cold that moved all three to the bottom of the list. No one should have to endure winter days below 50...unless such is their inclination.
I often visit Beeville. Some thing have changed.....but a lot hasn't. My kids are still amazed when I tell them we had to drive 60 miles to go to McDonalds.... and did so without hesitation.

nted some interesting challenges of the years. Most have left me a little bit wiser and not too scuffed up. Not much has unfolded as I had imagined...But I wouldn't change a thing. I stopped lamenting the gray hairs... 'cause at least they're still on my head.
My goal during HS was to become a veterinarian. While life took me in a different direction, I have no regrets. My career as a software engineer has afforded me many intriguing opportunities that would not have been possible has I pursued veterinary medicine.
