For anyone who visits my page, I thank you. It's a work in progress. Know what didaskaleinophobia is? Neither did I. It's the fear of going to school, from the Greek ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿, fear to be taught. I have it :p So if anyone wonders where I ran off to in 1989, there you go. Pity, really... I wanted to do more. I ended up as one good supermarket cashier, stockboy, and dairy/frozen department head. I worked in a restaurant, Arthur's at Belk, in 1999-2000, and umpired baseball 1994-2002 (and basketball 1995-2001). I even called some soccer (2004) and football (2000, 2003-2004). A black period was interspersed from 2002 through early 2005. No need to dwell on it. My favorite sports teams: (baseball) Atlanta Braves!, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics (football) Washington Redskins!, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers (basketball) Cleveland Cavaliers!, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers (hockey) Edmonton Oilers!, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers (world soccer) Manchester United! (collegiate) anything the North Carolina Tarheels! play... After that, I returned to work putting together (and now running) a business on eBay, called thetrendywoman. I sell women's clothing and accessories, some men's stuff, and whatever other bric-a-bracs I can get my hands on to vend. I am getting on well in my life; I'd like to lose a bit of weight, but other than that, I am doing all right on par. In October of '08, I went to Las Vegas to play in a hearts (the card game) tournament. I won :) Got $800, a plaque, and validation as a bad man on the hearts table :D It sure beat July, when I went to Chicago and barely managed to avoid last place :p I am single, have not married. I was engaged at one point, but that fell apart. Since then, I have been single and looking. One day I hope to find the girl who would be the love of my life. I would love to have a family.
