John's Story

Life A month after graduation I entered the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD for a fun four years of study and sailing. Finishing up with a degree in Engineering Physics (rocket science)I was in the submarine force for a dozen years. During that time I met my wife and saw the world through a periscope. We have three daughters, Jessica, Eileen and Elizabeth. After the time at sea we settled in Connecticut with me designing submarine computer systems at a Navy lab. I completed my MBA and took a job with Electric Boat when the lab was shut down a few years ago. I currently oversee the development of much of the training and myriads of technical manuals that will be used in the next generation...Expand for more
