John "Monty" Williams:  

This is the abbreviated version of my life to this point: After graduating from Central I went to UT Knoxville, married Jane Louise Turner on Sept. 6, 1969 and graduated UT in December 1970. I worked at the Baptist Hospital in surgery until I was accepted to Aviation Officer Candidate School (AOCS) in February 1973. I was commissioned in June 1973 as an Ensign and completed Naval Flight Officer training only to be "stashed" at San Clemente Island. Eventually, I completed a squadron tour at Moffett Field, CA. making 2 deployments to Misawa Japan. My son, Benjamin Adair Williams, was born in San Jose, CA on Sept. 28, 1975. On December 13, 1979, my daughter, Dianna Marie Williams, was born, while I was recruiting in Memphis. I was accepted to a new program designed to train NFO's to become pilots in their aircraft community. I then served a 2nd squadron tour in Brunswick, ME deploying to Keflivic Iceland and Bermuda.
