John's Story
John's schools included Miami Norland class of '65, FIU and St. Thomas (Criminal Justice). He served as a U.S. Navy Journalist in Pensacola and Vietnam and served 32 years in law enforcement, retiring as Director of the National HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Assistance Center. k. During his law enforcement service he taught or consulted for the Dept. of Justice in Jamaica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica. He retired in 2002 and continues to enjoy learning opportunities and writing. He is currently working on his first novel and looks forward to reading it!!! John is married with four children and six grandchildren.
