Johneen's Story
Catch 'em up on what you've done and who you are.
Guess the first place is to begin with after graduation, went on to attend Aiken Tech for a year, then transferred over to Augusta Tech after moving to North Augusta. I met my husband in 1982, when I returned home to Aiken. Didn't know then where I was heading, just working and partying. No plans for a husband or family. I was still trying to figure out what I wanted from life. But the hand of God moved and I found myself on the way to California that very year. Across the nation - imagine that, never wanted, thought I would leave Aiken.
My move to California - the best sentence to describe this. I went into major culture shock!. Cried for the first 2 weeks I was here. God planted me on the Quechan Reservation and that is where I have been since. I Had three sons, who are now grown and serving...Expand for more
our country. Army, Navy and Airforce. I am still married to that man that took me out of what he likes to call " Leave it to Beaver World". I still miss Aiken and was fortunate to come home in 2001 for 3 weeks. Plan to return home in late 2009. Will propbably be my last trip home. I work a full time job as an Administrative Assistant and am the wife of a Pastor. For those of you who know me, can you believe it? My hobbies still include movies, animals, gardening and music, but I have become a computer nut in the last two years and spend many hours at my computer.
