Johnny's Story

My Story...Graduated Lubbock High in 1962, then started Texas Tech College majoring in Engineering and still living at home. Got married to Lee Ann Toon in 1966 and graduated from TT in 1967. Had our first son and moved to Minneapolis in 1967 working for Control Data Corp and had our second son in 1969. Wanting to get closer to home, moved to Sherman, Tx in 1972 working for Texas Instruments then transferred with TI in Austin in 1977. Received an MBA from St Edwards University in Austin in 1980. Quit TI in 1981 and worked for ...Expand for more
several start-ups in Austin (Xetel Corp) and Dallas (Convex Computers) till 1993 and then started with Dell Computers in Austin and retired in 2002. Still have the same wife but now have 4 grand kids with one Son (Jeffrey) at NASA in Houston and the other Son (Greg) in Shanghai with Ineos Petrochemicals currently he is back in Houston still with Ineos...Now in charge of building a new Chemical Plant near Clear Lake Shores Texas Coast. We have since vacationed the world and been to all of Europe, most of Asia and South America.
