Johnny's Story

Hello all, I am now living in South Carolina in the town of Fort Mill. I retired from APS in 2003 after 32 years . Moved to las Vegas Nevada where my daughter and her family lived and go to be around her 3 terrific children and was there for the birth of my older son Ryan's first child. I now have 6 fantastic grandchildren. I Taught school in Vegas for 5 years after which I retired again. I had some surgery done which developed some complications and as a result I lost my left leg. I moved out to South Carolina to live near my daughter and her family when my son in law was offered a new position with his company. I had great plans for my retirement but tho...Expand for more
se did not materialize. I had other personal issue that threw a monkey wrench into them but life goes on. I have lived in SC going on 6 years but miss Albuquerque very much because many of my friends are still there. It has been a real culture shock for me here in the South but I am slowly adjusting but I do miss the famous New Mexico question "red or green or Christmas" on the food that I do so miss I am really looking forward to seeing all the people who attend the reunion and I just have to say that if I have difficulty remembering you I will blame it on the case of "senioritis" I may have been experiencing these last 6 years. Best wishes to everyone.
