JoLynne's Story

Life Married over 50 years; lived in Florida 55 years. Lived in same house 46 years! Had two children, daughter was married and had one child and lived about 20 miles from me; son was a severely handicapped young man and he passed away in February 2001. Daughter passed away 9-3-11. One granddaughter, three great granddaughters. Worked as an administrative secretary for State Farm insurance for 29 years and retired in 1998. ...Expand for more
Husband passed away in 2007. I enjoy NASCAR races and have attended many, but always went to Daytona in February until recently. I have three small poodles who are now my life. Workplace Consumers after Junior College until marriage in 1957. After children were older, I went back to work at State Farm in Winter Haven, Florida for 29 years as administrative secretary. I have enjoyed retirement since leaving State Farm in 1998.

This was my Misty who died in October, 2011.

Here was Misty acting silly. She was a real character. Here I called her the Flying Nun!
This was my special 'old man' Pepe who died June 2010. Everyone loved Pepe. He was the perfect pet.
