Jomay's Story
After junior high, I attended Westminster and then Mission Viejo High School. After earning B.S. and M.S. in animal science at UC Davis, I spent several years at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and graduated with a Ph.D. in 1993. My next stop was Peoria, IL where I worked as a post-doc for the USDA, and then I was hired by my current employer, Abbott Labora...Expand for more

I have been very fortunate over the years to have had caring parents, supportive teachers and wonderful managers. As a result, I have a challenging job that I enjoy (the same one for 14 years), and finally bought a real house, got married [to a really good guy], and now we have a very adorable toddler named Lauren.
