Jon's Story
I live in Evanston, IL, a suburb of Chicago. I retired from HSBC in 2014, but consider myself as semi-retired as I advise some start-ups and work with Ecoban Securities on a few trades. Mainly do a lot of traveling while my wife and I remain healthy.
I have 2 children, one daughter-in-law, and at some point I assume I will have a son-in-law. My son has cystic fibrosis, a life threatening disease affecting the lungs and other organs. My wife and I are both active with the CF ...Expand for more
foundation, and my wife runs a separate foundation to provide educational grants to CF kids (they are living long enough now that they want to go to college, but it is such an expensive disease that many parents can't afford to save for college).
Huge Bears fan (I married into great season tickets), which has not been easy the last few years, and a Cubs fan -- which has gone from agonizing to amazing.
Happily married for nearly 40 years. Love to bike, hike, ski, and play golf.
