Life
I moved to Alaska in 1973 courtesy of the US Army as a helicopter pilot. I continued flying helicopters and airplanes during the construction of the oil pipeline and have been flying commercially off and on ever since. I also flew for the Alaska National Guard. well as most of the world, including Afganistan and Kosovo, Serbia (well maybe those last two aren't included in the "Lucky" part). I retired completely in 2005 and am busy enjoying Alaska.
Update: Got tired of total retirement and took a part time job with the University of Alaska. Planning on spending the summer boating, fishing, and camping in Alaska with my grandson.
