Jon's Story

Life I've left Massachsetts behind.... I now reside in Jackson, WY. The great outdoors and the vistas of the Teton Mountains makes this a very magical place. The summers are awesome. Warm dry days (low humidity). Cool nights AC not needed. Yellowstone Park an hour away. Lots of outdoor activities in the Summer, hiking, biking etc. awesome. The Winter season (04/05) out wet had some epic snowfalls, my snowboarding season started in the beginning of Nov. and wrapped up at the end of June (pushing 8 months) totally cool. Snowboarding is a passion and I am up to 6 boards each unique and suited for many different conditions. With Jackson Hole having over 4000ft (1300m) of continuous vertical (unlike out east) the challenges snowboarding are many and fun. untian as a backyard. I've gotten into photography and have amassed a suprising collection of photos I've taken and framed. The photos vary from European holidays and sights to the great outdoors in the wild west. I'm still designing clothing but not to the extent when I was helping dress the GoGo dancers at Avalon Boston. My latest designs for snowboarding outfits are inspired by Godzilla........need i say more. I'm still a fashion victim....... Escaping Boston after years of residing in the South End is a pleasure......It's interesting to see the Morman influence out here. People are genuinely nice, pleasant and helpful just the opposite of Boston. My advice to the graduating classes of Masconomet. It's a big world get out explore and I hope you live an interesting life. Jon Eric Drummond Class of '73
