Jon's Story
Looking back, I received a good education at EHS, but more significantly, I learned about how to interact with different kinds of people, which has helped me be more successful in later life.
I live six doors up from the home (in Old Town Kensington) in which I grew up, with my wife of 30 years (Susan) and our two boys, Eliot and Scott. For 15 years, I worked for MCEA, Montgomery County's teachers union, where I supported our community's 12,000 teachers.
I formerly served as Executive Director of the Gaithersburg and Upper Montgomery Chamber of Commerce,...Expand for more
Director of Economic Development for the Montgomery County Government and Manager of Public Affairs for Washington Gas, prior to my recent position with the local teachers organization.
Like many folks, my most significant milestones have been graduating college, getting married, as well as the birth of our children. Life has worked out well, probably better than I might have expected and maybe even deserved!! :-)
I have fond memories of my years at EHS and would enjoy the opportunity to reconnect with friends from the three years I attended the school!
