Jon's Story
I wanted to be a UN interpreter due to my love for languages, but never made it to interpreter school and since I didn't want to go into teaching, I somehow ended up in the insurance business (I know, boring!) where I spent my career. I managed to obtain various designations (CPCU, CLU & Chartered Financial Consultant) which have little relevance outside of insurance and financial services, but they did get me a couple free vacations to Hawaii and Atlanta (whoopie!) for conferments.

in beautiful Prescott, Arizona. I have a daughter who lives in Fountain Valley, California and a son in San Diego and I manage to see them 3-4 times a year. My lovely wife, Mary, and I enjoy retirement and traveling in our motorhome (despite the outrageous gasoline prices), as well as taking occasional cruises. We keep busy at home with home improvements, gardening and taking ballroom dancing lessons whenever available. I also keep active running 30 miles weekly and working out at the gym three days a week.
