Jon's Story
Life
After graduating from SHS in 1961, I attended Michigan State University where I earned a BS in microbiology in 1965 and married Gwynne Boger (SHS, 1964). I then earned a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Michigan in 1969. 1972-1979 and we had a second child, Traci in 1973. We moved to Indianapolis in 1979 when I joined Eli Lilly and Co in the immunology research program. I have had several positions within Lilly and now am a project manager for antidepressant compounds. Gwynne and I enjoy flying in our 1978 Bonanza. We have made annual trips for the airshow at Oshkosh and visited the Oregon coast in the plane.
