After high school I went to WMU for a couple of years. In 1963 I join the navy, and went to language school in California. I was then sent to Pensacola for class A school and sent to Taiwan for 16 months and then to the Philippines for 11 months. worked a Heath Co for 5 years meeting and marrying my wire there. I then joined th Berrien County Sheriff's department retiring in 1993 as a captain. I then worked as a dispatcher for the Michigan State Police for a little less than 7 years retiring in 2000. My wire and I have been married for 47 years, we have 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
