Jon's Story

After 30 years teaching chemistry and other science classes at Reynolds, coaching wrestling for 14 years, and acting as coordinator and one of the instructors of driver education--I have retired! Alas, I am still coordinator/instructor of driver education but my life has become much more relaxed otherwise. graphic design in the Gresham/Portland area, and the youngest works in the insurance field in Portland. My wife is a past professor for Multnomah University in Portland and now fills her time with mentoring young women and making unique art works. I keep physically active, have been busy doing remodeling projects, and volunteer as a Big brother to an elementary grade boy. I plan to remain the driver education coordinator for Reynolds HS/MHCC, , continue playing my cello, and be the best granddad possible to my growing tribe of grandkids.
