It has been great, however rough at times it may be. 38+ years with the Electric Company under its many and various names, from C&SOE to AEP... and now a few more to go. Married Sandy Stanley from the class of 79.... still wouldn't trade her for a bucket of worms... married 37 years as of yesterday 6/23 (2017). Son is a nurse and daughter is an auditor/accountant.... four grandsons and three granddaughters... some attended Alex for awhile, then Athens, now at Fairfield Union... One at Trimble HS... two in Obetz (Hamilton TWP Schools). Our kids went to Nelsonville York (yikes).... and they survived.
Have been a minister for nearly 35 years, traveling all over the country... and sometimes out of it. We raised Shiba Inus... a Japanese dog that is the domesticated version of the Australian Dingo... very smart breed.... they did my kids homework for them.

y acquaintances therefrom are from the classes of 78 and 79... since I hung around and waited for her to grow up.... :o)
Have written a collection of Christian (mostly) poems... many of which were published in 2008 in the book "Silver Linings"; and hope to push more through the tube some day. Right now working on a memoir of life with my father... hope to publish soon. Wrote and recorded some music what seems like a century ago... nearly was.... and play now with selected folk just for the fun of it. Looking ot release a CD sometime early 2017.... some songs written with Mike Beckely many years ago... and I have a new writing partner... Rosie Thimmes, and the future looks bright.
Life is good.
Jon's schools include Columbus Eastmoor High School and Alexander High School.
Music Jon likes includes just about everything... listening, playing, writing, and listening some more.
One of Jon's favorite quotes is:"It is not the tragedy that children are afraid of the dark, but that men are afraid of the light.... ???".
