Jonathan's Story

Life Lots of music. thats my life. Had ads in 37 countries at one time. Very much single & never married. Just yer average loser musician haha School ok if you will notice i got alot of schools over there. alot of moving when i was young , it goes - (i think) 1976 kindergarten - Started at Ivanhoe (cuz i remember my great grandma Orr was the teacher's aide) 1976 kindergarten - moved to Liberty School in Visalia 1976-77 kindergarten - moved back to Ivanhoe , went to Elbow Creek in the afternoon 1977 1st grade - ok these 2 might be switched , i dont remember well. Started at Elbow (i remember sitting on the floor) 1977-78 1st grade moved to Ivanhoe school due to overcrowding. had Mrs. Suggs (i think , can't remember if she was at Ivanhoe or Elbow) 1978-79 2nd grade Mr McDonald at Elbow 1979-80 3rd grade Mrs McNutt at Elbow 1980-81 4th grade Mrs Clark and her frumpy teachers aide 1981-82 5th grade Mrs Madruga she was beautiful , i remember she took 3 of us a day home to her house for about a week , kinda like a field trip to see how a teacher lives i guess. She drove a VW Bug i remember sitting in the back seat haha 1982-83 6th grade Mr Borrud. I think. 4th - 6th all at Ivanhoe. 1983-1985 - Valley Oak middle school 1985-1989 - Golden West High School I remember walking to Ivanhoe school every morning. and blowing my 25 cents i had left from lunch on a video game at the triangle or the gas station across the street. wow alot of stuff. had a massive crush on Sunney Malone. Finally got to date her years later , screwed it up and she got rid of me. Took my CHSPE the begining of 12th grade and graduated 6 months early. after i took the test in November i think i spent the entire next 3 months in Mr Seaward's office ditching all my other classes. 72 days absent The big thing i regret now is not focusing more on my studies. I love learning all i can now. I was too busy planning my big rise to fame as a musician like all people who are naive do. I think one of the biggest mistakes was not dating Yvonne Morton. or Erica. wow i think back now and i could have dated some really nice ladies , but i was focused on Sunney only. I should have tried to date the extremely beautiful ones like Inga Richter or Michelle Macelroy or Tammy Winchell. but nooo i was too down on myself ha I did awful in school. mainly for 2 reasons...3 reasons. 1) I had S.A.D. , social anxiety disorder. A VERY bad case that i will have forever. 2) I was focused on my dark and evil music alot more than any school work. so i would ace a class for the first half , then flunk the 2nd half due to not caring about the homework. 3) even more so was my crush on Sunney. I was beyond your average lovestruck kid. What i will always find funny is the fact Sunney live one street over from me , maybe about 150 - 200 yards away from the time i was 5 years old , and i never knew her until the day i saw her in high school. Well , i would have to say , what i loved the most about school was Mr Seaward and choir. Let's see '85 saw me as a men's glee bass , then i was in men's glee as a bass and choir as a baritone , then the next year if i remember right .. I was a tenor in men's glee and a baritone in choir. (i used to think i could sing) Mister Seawrd gave me the best thing in music tho , the King's Singers. Whom i still listen to. All in all , It was Mr Jeffry Alan Seaward as my fav teacher. Followed by Mr Renzi , but that was Junior high at Valley Oak. College well i got outta school early and went straight into a bunch of bands that had no chance in hades of going anywhere , even to a bar for a gig. alot of it had to do with me not wanting to be a cover band , screw that. So i went to college years later , Phillips Junoir College in Fresno. Those were the days . Wake up and be at work at Target by 4am , then get off work around noon , go to moms in Visalia and eat , leave for sk00l in Fresno , do school until 1am ish , then back to moms to pick up my car , then back out to where i was living (7 miles north of Visalia) then sleep alittle , then back at work at target around 4am and start over. I was passed thru a class i didnt understand (I got involved with a woman from Fresno and goofed off on my work) so the day of the final i went to the "teacher" and said ...Expand for more
"hey i didnt understand this class at all. He said (and i quote) "well you have an hour to turn that final in so you better copy off of someone quick". I turned around , got in the truck , turned up Tiamat's "The Astral Sleep" as loud as it would go , and drove home. Much to my suprise , altho i turned in no final , and only about 5% of the homework , i was passed thru the class. I went to the next class and asked the teacher about not understanding the last class. He said (and i quote) "We're not trying to pound it in your head , we just want you to know where to find it in the book" I promptly went to the truck , turned up Dark Throne's "Soulside Journey" as loud as it would go , and went home , ne'er to return. I got a nice education from them on real life , and not what i paid , as of now , 19 grand to be learning. they went bancrupt a few months later. Workplace hmmm - my first ever job was every summer working in the fig fields at my grandparent's fig ranch. from the time i was really little. out there at 4am driving the tractor. then when i was 15 i got a job thru Y.E.S. (Youth Employment Services) i got a position as an aide at a daycare for handicapped kids. but there were 4 kids in the class and 6 aides , so they sent me next door to the daycare for regular kids. 6 aides and about 30 kids. I remember there were 2 brothers , Mario and Luigi (I'm not kidding that was there names) and Mario was actually only 4 , 1 year too young to be in the class. He wouldnt go outside to wait for his mom at the end of the day unless i picked him up on my shoulders haha '88 i worked at a laundramat. 40 bucks a week in cash. then i worked at sizzler as a dishwasher , then at alpine station as a dishwasher / janitor / cook / ice cream dispenser / waiter... then to Target at the snack bar / salesfloor / push team / pull team Then to construction work (plumbing) with Leroy Hipp. Then to Wal-mart for 9 years (up til august 2004) when i just up and quit. I wanted to take a year off and get into something i would rather be doing. Wally world is ok , but even tho they claim all the stuff about being for the associates , alot of it is bs. I went all the way to almost being a district manager. And i was shot down due to the fact i wanted to treat people like they were people , and not like they were just numbered cattle. So i joined a friend with his company he was starting , as the lead programmer and game devolper. But he wanted me to program games that take 100 people 5 years to create and do it all by myself , so after a few months of no pay and the fact he didnt get it thru his head it would take ALOT more people , i left. Back to Wal-mart. HEEE-UGE mistake. I was told i was being promoted back to managemnt , got all ready for it , was about ready to order my new recording set up for my music , and POW ... the 2 women who dressed like sluts got interviews for a promotion and the one i was TOLD i had never happened. The Store manager was demoted and removed from the store 2 days later. So after almost 1 year (missed it by 2 days) i quit. Only to be hired by Bloomington Wholesale Garden Supply 2 days later. So i was out there in Goshen riding around on a very large forklift up about 40 feet in the air. Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm , no stress. i hate to say it but SCREW wal-mart. The last thing i said to my overnight "managers" was "i am going to take everything wal-mart ever taught me and go use it for someone else". then , July of 2008 , I moved. 600 miles to the north , Crescent Cty CA , 15 minutes from the Oregon border with ocean out my front door and redwood forest out the back. Finding a job here is getting annoying , but other than that , i am surrounded by my family. This town is kinda small so i think the prospect of finding a wife now is 100% gone , like i had a chance anyway. Update - I was a manager for Walgreens. But that went really bad really quick , so now I'm not working again. And who would have thought ,I gave up the job for the woman I was with and going to be with forever , and as soon as I did , she left. (It was her Idea for me to stop working there and move in with her) Military they wouldnt take me i tried they said i was too screwy even for them. (they must have heard me behind the drums)
