Jonathan's schools include Van Horn High School. I was the guy everyone called "Billy Graham" and I was a child horse wrangler. I was often found on the back of a horse as I had several at my disposal at any given time. In 77 the Teachers went on strike and I could not stand it at home so I took off and joined the US Navy. Every class in 78 Failed me except one, Jr ROTC. So according tot he State of Florida where I was stationed at NAS Jacksonville Florida I had enough credits to Graduate so Florida gave me a Diploma and I did not come back to Van Horn HS to graduate. 15 years later I was home on leave and I was asked to come to a Van Horn HS Reunion, and when I showed up I only made it as far as the parking lot and NO ONE recognized me, not even my best buddy David Coulter. So after a few minutes I went ahead and I left. Then some 25 years later I was about to get out of the Military and I was home again so I stopped by to see the Van Horn Reunion and I met someone at the door that I had never expected to see again. We briefly talked but I could not get over how she made me feel inside again even after all those years. I came back for the 30th Reunion and again I could not hide the feelings that someone could stir up but I was not going to bring that up and I walked away again. Enjoyed the evening and watched everyone get drunk and then I left. I went to the 35th Van Horn HS Reunion for the Class of 74 & 75 and met a few people I grew up with thru the years and we shared a lot as many got drafted into the Military so we had things to talk about. But there was no one there from my Class of 76 - 78. I got injured while on duty and I was forced to retire early. My world seem to turn upside down and I found I was lost in a sea of cloudy skies and turbulent seas and no idea on which way this was going to turn out as I had no control of my destiny at that moment in my life.
