Jonella's Story
Life
After High School graduation I attended ISU and received a degree in Nursing. I got married in 1981 to a great guy I met at Rose Hulman and we moved after he graduated to Wichita, Kansas. We lived there for 8 years, while I worked as a nurse in Intensive Care at a large metro hospital. Our first child , Amanda was born in 1983. My son Mark was born in 1987. We moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1989 when my husband took a Management position with Rockwell International. I work as a nurse in a very busy Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Luke's Hospital here. begun a second career as an artist and have sold a great many paintings. I enjoy watercolor, oil and pastel. Our daugter will be graduating this year (2001) and our son is 13 and qiite active in football and wrestling. Our daughter will be going to college at University of Iowa, majoring in anthropology. My husband John is a pilot and we like to travel here and there for great vacations! I have not been able to come back to Spencer very often, due to the distance and our busy lives.
