Life Hello everyone... A little about my life.. Once I finished High School I joined the Marine Corps and headed off to boot camp. I went to boot camp and grew up very fast. Went to boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina then off to my schooling up at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Once finished with my school I was headed off to Camp Pendleton, California from 1982-1985 where I met my husband Christopher we had our first son Robert and we married. We were both in the Corps and that was a little tough. I ended up a year in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina and Chris ended up on ship for 18 months. Then it was again time to move and we both ended up back in California together. I was stationed at El Toro, California and he was at Camp Pendleton so I made the commute of 2 hours each way every day for a little over a year. It was at that time I decided that I needed to end my career in the Military and just be a wife and mother. We stayed at Camp Pendleton through 3 more children and were there until 1995. We then received orders to Okinawa, Japan. Let me tell you that Okinawa, Japan is the most beautiful place to live not only to raise a family but the culture and lifestyle was amazing. While over in Japan I lost my mother due to Ovarian Cancer and was absolutely devastated. I then left my husband of 15 years and headed back to Rapid Cit...Expand for more
