Joni's Story
Since graduation, my life has been full
with raising my kids. I married Ralph Tobar in the summer of 81 and we had a
daughter in 82. Her name is Tiffany.
Like most high school sweethearts, we
broke up in 85 but we are still very good friends. We keep in touch threw our daughter and now have 3 wonderful
grandchildren. They are Stevie(age 8),
Jack(age 4)and Olivia(age 8 months).
Life didn't end for me with the break-up but just really started. In the summer of 86, I met Marc Trusty. We hit
it off instantly and married and by 1987 we were the proud parents of twins. Tyler Marc and Tory Beth. We moved to Altus,Oklahoma to raise our family and...Expand for more
we have been there ever since then. Our son Tyler is in the army and is set to be married by the end of this year to a great girl name
Brittany Tovar. Our daughter Tory is married to a young man named James Fleming and they have a sweet daughter
named Tesa(age 3). With all the kids raised and moved out, I thought life would get a little easier but was I wrong!!Marc was diagnoised with liver
failure in the summer of 2006 and is now on the liver transplant list and waiting. We take it day by day but we are grateful for the time we have together. I often think about my days at North Side High and wonder what happened to my fellow classmates.
