Jonna's Story

Life I live outside Farmington,NM on our farm and ranch in Waterflow that my husband owns and operates. I have been married for 27 1/2 years and have 2 wonderful kids. Adrienne will be 26 in Nov. and Larin just turned 24. They are my pride and joy. No grandkids yet, but lots of grandpuppies. I have been an office manager for a plunger lift co. (natural gas industry)in Farmington for 10 years and gas compression business out of Houston, 10 years prior to that. Me, my husband, and daughter own a horse breeding farm and breed, raise and train Paints and quarterhorses in our "spare" time. Adrienne was 4th in the State of NM last year in 2006, running barrels and went to Australia to compete on the US Rodeo team. It was a great experience for her. Larin never got the horse bug, but is a (crazy) bullrider. He has a good job and travels quite a bit, but has a house 100 yards from us, in which he and Adrienne live in toget...Expand for more
her. My dad has moved back to House, NM where I lived until I was 4. My mom lives behind our house in Waterflow, 100 yards the other way, behind our arena and barn. I enjoy having her close. She still rides and plays with horses too. She still has the ranch outside of Tucumcari and leases it to my cousin. My sister Teri lives in Jones, OK and has 1 daughter named Jonna, my wonderful little name sake. Shes 11 and is a tough little cowgirl, ropes, barrel races, runs poles and goat ties and good at all. My grandma Mitchell will be 90 in Nov. and lives in Clovis. We go and visit her quite a bit. My husband and I have been traveling a lot the last few years. We have worked hard all of our lives, so we decided to see the sights and spend the kids inheritance. We went to Alaska in 2005, the Mexican Rivera in 2006 and we're going to the Carribean this Dec., 2007. Cruisin' is a blast! Life is good! Hello to everyone!
