Jordan's Story
After high school, I went to UCLA on a Naval ROTC scholarship. I graduated with a BA in History and was commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy.
While in the Navy, I served in the engineering department on a frigate, U.S.S. Downes (FF-1070) and was naviagator on a nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser, U.S.S. Texas (CGN-39). While on sea duty, I traveled as far west as Japan and as far east as the Indian Ocean.
I also spent 2 years, 2 months and 3 days (and I remember each and every one of them) as Port Services Officer at U.S. Naval Station Panama Canal. ...Expand for more
After that, I was stationed in Washington, D.C. for a year and a half.
After spending nine years in the navy, I went to law school at Rutgers University - Camden School of Law, graudating with a law degree in 1987. I spend a year in New Jersey before returning to California.
I am now an attorney (duh!) living and working in the San Fernando Valley.
Somehow, I never married. I guess that everyone I asked said "no," and those who would have said "yes," I didn't ask. All except one, but she called it off three days before the wedding. But I'm not dead, yet!
