Love is selfish. In today's world it only exists when I see the recognition of my own beauty inside of another. Using them as a filter for my own beauty I am able to see through their lens and understand that I am as valuable as they are. Essentially, when we say I love you we mean to say, "you grant me permission to be myself and I can't express how wonderful it feels." - Why not just be yourself all the time and connect to anyone who can allow you to be without any insistance that you satisfy them? - (my new life philosophy)
