Finally a new excellent sushi location in St. Louis you don't have to drive to the drunken fish downtown or the west side. Sushi Hana is in Affton, 8809 Gravois. My first pic since March.

Kick mic placement. In this case placed it further back to minimize the beater slap and to round out the resonance
After doubling a guitar track with the Revolt amp. Brev tripled it with a direct track while using a 414TL to get the sound of the strings acoustically.
MD 421 with no roll off and sm57 on cab, AKG414 TL with no pad and low cut set at 80hz.
