Jose's Story
Life
I attended George Washington Elementary School from 1967-1972, and Thomas Jefferson Junior High from 1973-1974, and Union Hill High School from 1975-1977, respectively. Later, I finished high school at Miami Coral Park Senior High School in Miami, Florida.
Afterward, I enrolled in university studies from 1979-1995, eventually earning a PhD in philosophy of Religion. I have been employed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools teaching special education, first for 14 years in the area of emotional disturbances, and the last year in specific learning disabilities.

In addition, I have been in charge of a martial arts program for the City of Sweetwater for almost 25 years. Presently, I hold a 10th degree black belt in Karate-do, and a 7th degree black belt in Judo and Ju-Jitsu. I love teaching young men and women to become excellent fighters and outstanding individuals within society.
College
I have earned an Associate of Arts; Bachelor of Arts; Master of Arts, Educational Specialist; Philosophical Doctorate; in addition to having 3 honorary doctorates.
Workplace
I presently work for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. I have been in that capacity for 15 years. And I have taught martial arts for the City of Sweetwater since 1978.
