After getting my undergrad degree at Southwest Texas State (now Texas State-San Marcos, wow), I went to Brown for grad school in biomedical engineering. But I hated it and ended up taking a Masters and working at IBM. Later I decided to go to grad school in social psychology. I also get to teach a little psychology there and sometimes work as an expert witness in civil rights lawsuits.
