Life
Wow! I just turned 45 and Elise, my wife, and I now have 2 boys; David is 6 and Daniel is 3. I still teach 7th grade social studies in Brooklyn, NY, to mostly Latino students in Sunset Park. I really enjoy teaching and lending a Canadian perspective to US history and current event (thank God for Mr. Vass because Miss Sears just didn't do it for me).
I have duel citizenship but am still devoutly Canadian and will always have a close bond to Montreal, even thoug...Expand for more
h it's been 13 years since I left in '96.
I still play play rugby in Prospect Park and receive medical attention. I miss medicare but not Quebec politics. I still live in Park Slope in Brooklyn and really enjoy living here.
I wonder what happened to some of my old friends like John O'Donnell, Gerry Gohier, Paul Trudeau and the Coss brothers, Jeff and Peter who actually moved to TO in 1977. I still think about Suzie Holbrook and what a great person she was--RIP.
