-Post retirement (1998 to present): professional storyteller, volunteer tour guide, professional tour guide, volunteer science center exhibit interpreter, traveler with wife.
Life
As of November 23, 2006: Currently live in New Jersey with my family wife Mary - married 29 yrs. We have a son Joe (26) and a daughter Catherine (23). tern Europe, Croatia, Mexico, the Western National Parks, Alaska, and Russia. Heading to Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and to Tunisia in 2008. Found my father's roots in Lithuania and discovered relatives I didn't know I had. I'm a storyteller and tell stories to adults and children or do workshops at various places about 30 times a year. I'm a tour guide at our state capitol (New Jersey) and was until May 08 at a place called Duke Farms in NJ. I was an exhibit interpreter at the NJ Library for Science. (joedudis at gmail dot com) And I'm a reader at the NJ Library for the blind where they tape local news papers and broadcast them to blind people or tape NJ oriented books which they then loan out to blind people (or anyone else). I'm also an exhibit interpreter at NJ's Library Science Center. I occassionally dabble in acting at community theaters.
